The white wash room is small, has minimalist design. The bright colour poster stands out nicely against the white wall. The amenities and furnishing are basic. Bacially clean bed with a small cupboard. Coffee/tea making facilities is available in the room. The attached bathrooms/toilet are equipped with standing shower only. Standard room has no window.

The room is small, has simple design with dark brown ceramic tiled flooring, beige coloured wall and a nice poster over the bed. As this is a basic hotel amenities and furnishing are limited and consist of bed with a small cupboard, small dressing table and 26 inches LCD television. The bathroom is small and are equipped with showers. Some of the rooms are without windows.

This little hip hotel is setting the standards in a very contrastingly old neighbourhood. Couple and gay friendly, it is also for young and trendy at a very reasonable price. Located in the colorful area of Keong Siak Street and on the fringe of Chinatown, the buildings consist of pre-war shop houses (aptly named after its build date, 1929) which is the alternative to the unbiquitious glass and concrete modern hotels.

Zimmerbeschreibung
The hotel has managed to marry the old with the new. The rooms are definitely modern with white walls, flat panel TV and white bedding. The furnishings are a cut above hotels of similar standards. The chair is a refurbish European designer original from the owners collection. Bathrooms are an all glass affair with no screens. The rooms are furnished in either single or double only bed configuration (no twins) so is couple friendly. The room is small so the bed is raise up to create space for luggage. For the bold, the rooftop penthouse suite offers an outdoor bathtub for al fresco baths.

Hotellobby
The lobby is small, there is a little seating area and looks more like a upmarket furniture shop with classic pieces of European designer chairs (as in the rooms) and designer lighting. To the left is the restaurant Ember. The liberal use of glass and mirrors has maximised the small space. A single lift services the 4 floors.

Hotelrestaurant
The restaurant Ember, in keeping with the mod look of the hotel exudes quality and style in both the food (European with Asian touches) and style. It is fine dining experience but without the pain on the wallet.

Located within the red light district in the suburb of Geylang, this area is well known to the locals for its good food, fruit shops and exciting night life. Walking down the streets is as safe as any part of Singapore. This is as close as you can get to the alternative side of Singapore.

The rooms are small, simple but clean. They are equipped with the basic amenities and a TV. There is no wardrobe in the room however racks are available for hanging clothes. The bathroom is a standing shower, basic but functional.
